College Entrance Exams 


    PLAN/PSAT Information

    The PLAN test is taken by 10th grade students.  It’s the Pre-ACT test.  It entails English, math, reading and science questions as well as an interest inventory, needs assessment and high school class information. We will offer it here at the high school on Wednesday, October 14th in the morning.

    The PSAT test is taken by 11th grades.  It’s the Pre-SAT test.  It entails critical reading skills, math problem-solving skills, and writing skills.  Top 11th grade scores nationwide qualify students for National Merit Scholarship.  This test will take approximately 2 ½ hours.  We will offer it here at the high school on Wednesday, October 14th.  Cost will be $12.00.

    College Entrance Exams

    Most colleges and universities require prospective students take a college-entrance exam as part of the admissions process.

    The two most common exams are the ACT and the SAT. Some schools accept both exams, but others require one or the other.

    Be sure you know which exams is required for admission to your school of choice.
