Sausen receives another award for her jewelry!
Amanda got both her 'Reflections" and "Windows" selected to be part of the 51th Annual Les Farlington Best 100 Art Exhibit. Twenty two school from the St. Paul and surrouding area submitted work to be selected. Only the top 100 works got in the show. Amanda received a Mert Award for her jewelry.
Art Students Head to National Exhibition
Students received the highest awards for their art entries in the Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards. Amanda Sausen was awarded a GOLD KEY for her jewelry entry "Windows" and also a SILVER KEY for her pen and ink "Reflections." Casey Wittrock received a GOLD KEY for his dry point engraving prints, "Old Scandia."
This is one of the biggest, most recognized art shows in MN. Over 1000 entries were submitted, only 57 Gold Keys were awarded, 111 Silver Key awards with only 169 pieces in the show. All Gold Key winners advance to the national competition in NY.
